YONGWOO LEE
Assistant Professor | Architect ARB RIBA LEED AP
Yongwoo Lee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture at Kangwon National University, South Korea. He is a practicing architect who has worked at Foster + Partners, CJ Lim Studio 8 Architects, and WestonWilliamson+Partners in London on a range of projects of varying scales and complexities.
Yongwoo holds a Master of Architecture with Distinction at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL and is a recipient of the Fitzroy Robinson Drawing Prize 2021 for the best drawings in ARB/RIBA Part II postgraduate studies. He later completed his Part III professional studies at the Architectural Association in London.
Prior to the Bartlett, he received a Bachelor of Architecture from the Mackintosh School of Architecture, Glasgow where he was nominated for the RIBA President’s Bronze Medal 2017 and is a winner of Sheppard Robson Award for the Best Architecture Student and Governor's International Undergraduate Scholarship.
He always pursues his passion for architecture and urbanism both in and out of the studio and seeks for a new possibility of architecture by collaborating with multidisciplinary designers.
